What are your hours?
Monday through Thursday our office is open from 7 am until 3:30 pm, with the exception of a short lunch break as our duties allow each day. Days and hours may also vary depending on holidays and continuing educational courses for the office staff.
Does your office treat children?
Yes; we are a family practice. We recommend that children have their first dental exam by the age of three. We call this visit a “happy visit.” A happy visit allows the child to interact and build a positive relationship with the staff and Dr. Jennings.
Does your office accept dental insurance?
Yes; our office accepts all indemnity insurance plans – that is, plans that allow patients to go to the dentist of their choice. The only plan we participate in is the Delta Premier Plan. We strive to be as knowledgeable as possible of each of the 400+ policies our patients represent. We do hold the ultimate responsibility for insurance understanding and the account itself to be the guarantor of each account or the owner of the plan. Are monthly payments acceptable?
Once we have completed a thorough evaluation and gathered diagnostic information, we can determine and prioritize your dental needs. We can review this information and discuss financial arrangements at a complimentary consultation.
We request payment at time of service unless other arrangements have been made.
Can I have my teeth cleaned on the first visit?
The initial visit for patients eighteen years and under includes an exam, necessary x-rays, and a hygiene cleaning.
For patients older than eighteen, we schedule an eighty-minute appointment with Dr. Jennings for a comprehensive oral evaluation. During this appointment, thorough evaluations of the teeth and gums will be completed. After an accurate and complete diagnosis is made, and understood by patient, a treatment phase is entered into. On occasion, a separate consultation appointment is required after the first appointment to allow for a more in depth review findings and recommendations. This appointment is offered free of charge and is considered part of the diagnostic process.
