Safety and Services
Our infection control practices exceed the guidelines set by Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control, and the American Dental Association. We routinely use masks and gloves, as well as disposable items when possible. All surfaces in our procedure rooms are either covered or disinfected before each new patient arrives. Metal instruments, including drills, are sterilized with an autoclave, and the few non-metal instruments we use are disinfected after each use. We have self-contained water systems to prevent the possibility of external contamination and allow for regular disinfecting.
To insure that our infection control practices are effective, we monitor several critical steps with biologic tests. We also attend regular update meetings and set aside training time specifically to maintain our high standards in this constantly changing area. We understand the safety concerns you may have, and we would be pleased to give you a tour of our facility and answer any questions concerning safety and infection control.
As a general dental office, we are pleased to provide comprehensive care through a broad range of procedures and services, with referral to more narrowly trained specialists when necessary.
